Pedal Pad™ Pedal Board Comparisons & Reviews

BEFORE

Here's a pic of my SKB PS-35. I bought it new in 2004 to upgrade from my PS-25. Note the horrible placement of the power supply cable coming off the top lefthand side of the board. Sometimes when I'd step on my Boss tuner I'd bump a knob on the Boss chorus underneath it. Same with the DOD envelope filter, I'd sometimes accidentally turn the drive knob on my tubescreamer below it.

AFTER

Now, I'm running from the head out to the Boss noise gate (Tommy Girvin's old one from Eddie Money's band), down to the Boss chorus, into the Boss flanger, then a 1 foot cable runs out of the Flanger underneath the panel and up to the MXR Phase 90, into the DOD Envelope filter, Tubescreamer, Crybaby, Boss tuner, and out to the guitar. The Marshall footswitch runs directly to the head. All the power cables run under the board to the patch pad.

This is awesome! Figuring out how I was gonna arrange the panels and run the cables took a while, but was well worth the time spent. It seriously is a custom board for a fraction of a custom board price.

You really have to see them in person to fully know the limitless custom capabilities of it. Thanks again, for the first time in years I'm actually happy with my pedalboard!
