What A Top Industry Tech at Robert Keeley Electronics Says...

Hey Guys,

I'm a semi-professional guitar player and teacher, and a tech at Robert Keeley Electronics (www.rkfx.com). I've been using one of your older JP-10 model boards for a while now, and I just had an experience I thought I would relate.

I wrecked my truck last weekend at about 45mph, slammed straight into the guy in front of me (the person two cars up's fault). The front of my truck was totally crushed. Anyway, I had my rig in the back of the truck, and the impact sent the my board slamming up against the cab. I did a quick check at the scene and it looked alright. The next time I opened it, I found that the impact had knocked all of the plugs on the side facing the cab out of their jacks, it even shoved my vintage Maestro phaser off of it's weird sliding feet! I simply plugged my pedals back in, put the feet back on the Maestro, and went to my next gig! None of my pedals showed any damage, and the lid doesn't even wobble.

At my job, I get asked frequently what kind of pedal board I would suggest to go with our effects. I always recommend your products. I don't know of another company that makes a board that is as versatile and dependable as yours. I know if mine were ever destroyed (although I don't know how) I would definitely get another. Thanks for making such a great product, and helping to show people we know how to make professional music gear here in the Midwest!!

P.S. I've included a pic of my board (see above gallery) if you are interested. I have carpeted the steel panels to make it easier to move pedals around and still get good Velcro adhesion. The Keeley Compressor, Ibanez AD-9, Boss SD-1, wah, and even the DOD envelope filter were all built/modified by us here at the shop.
